My Contacts Correct My Astigmatism Problem
I think that my very first eye appointment pinpointed by near-sightedness. It was so frustrating to have to start wearing glasses when I was just a young girl. Gradually I got used to wearing them, but I never ever grew used to liking them. It was just a miserable part of growing up that some kids had to deal with and others didn't. I remember always feeling ugly when I had my glassses on. The other children didn't help the situation with their frequent teasing. Now that I wear contacts to correct my astigmatism, no one even knows that I have eye problems. I'm come a long way from that sad little girl that the other children called "four eyes."
